Polish prime minister: Ukraine may receive Polish MiG-29 fighters in 4-6 weeks

The Polish government recently said that it was ready to transfer Soviet-made MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine. Now there is information about the approximate delivery date.

When We Can Expect It

According to Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, Poland may hand over its fighters within 4-6 weeks. Poland has around 30 MiG-29A and MiG-29UB modifications in service. By the way, apart from Poland, the Slovak government is also ready to send its MiG-29s to Ukraine, but for this it is necessary to obtain permission from the country's parliament.

Flashback

The MiG-29 is a fourth-generation Soviet multirole fighter. It was the main multi-role fighter of the Warsaw Pact and USSR during 80s of XX century. Now the MiG-29 is in service in many countries, including Ukraine. It has more than 15 modifications.
