Not just MiG-29 fighters: Slovakia to give Ukraine 2K12 "Kub" surface-to-air missile systems
In addition to the MiG-29 fighters, Slovakia also agreed to hand over 2K12 Kub anti-aircraft missile systems to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Here's What We Know
This was announced by Prime Minister Eduard Heger and Slovak Defence Minister Jaroslav Nad at a joint press conference. Unfortunately, the exact dates of delivery and the number of SAMs were not disclosed.
In fact, Slovakia has no modern anti-aircraft missile systems in its arsenal. The Slovak army uses Soviet S-300 and 2K12 Kub missile defense systems. The rest of the air defence system is provided by NATO allies.
