The Petey app allows the ChatGPT to be used on the Apple Watch
OpenAI's ChatGPT continues to take the technology industry by storm. Developers are actively integrating it into iPhone and iPad apps, and now the neural network can also be used on the Apple Watch.
Here's How It Works
ChatGPT's can be communicated with using a special app called Petey. Initially it was called watchGPT, but due to trademark issues the developers had to rename it.
The app adds a special widget to your watch face that gives you quick access to ChatGPT. You can ask the artificial intelligence questions via text messages or voice commands. This makes it a handy alternative to the Siri voice assistant, which in most cases answers queries in the format of web results sent to your iPhone.
The Petey app isn't free - a subscription costs $4.99 a month. The app requires watchOS 9, so it should work on Apple Watch Series 4 and newer models. It currently supports 14 different languages, and more will be added over time.
