The vehicle was developed based on experience from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The vehicle has 4×4 wheel configuration, mine protection, and a turret for a 7.62 mm light machine gun, 40 mm grenade launcher, or 12.7 mm heavy machine gun, the Browning M2.
