Google releases March update for Pixel Watch with new features

Google continues to improve its Pixel Watch smartwatch with a new software update.

Here's What We Know

The watch has gained support for Fall Detection, which can use sensors to detect if the user has fallen and call emergency services. In addition, the watch has gained the ability to display the time even if the device's battery is completely dead. To do so, the user presses the side control button.

Other improvements include optimized sensor sensitivity, improved battery life, the ability to start Battery saver with a single tap and the ability to turn Always-on Display on or off via the Watch Settings or App.

When We Can Expect It

The OTA update has already started rolling out in waves to devices around the world.
