XPeng X3 flying car revealed on video as it takes off and lands

XPeng showed the X3 flying car in action for the first time in late autumn 2022. A few months later, a new video has emerged. Probably not a promotional one.

Here's What We Know

The XPeng X3 prototype is a full-fledged four-wheeled vehicle that can navigate the surface. The car is expected to be used in this mode for the vast majority of the time.

In exceptional cases, the driver of the XPeng X3 will be able to lift the vehicle into the air. For example, to overcome traffic jams. There are eight massive propellers, mounted in pairs, that can be used for this purpose.

The XPeng X3 is equipped with a battery that provides up to 35 minutes of flight time at 130 km/h. The vehicle can lift up to 560kg into the air.
