Ukrainian military shows French AMX-10RC wheeled tanks for the first time (video)

In mid-March, the French Defence Ministry officially announced that the AMX-10RC wheeled tanks had been delivered to Ukraine. Two weeks later, the military demonstrated the new vehicles for the first time.

Here's What We Know

The armoured vehicle has a 6x6 wheel configuration and is able to move effectively over difficult terrain. It is equipped with a 105mm cannon, which has a maximum range of 2km.

France announced the AMX-10RC in early 2023. The first batch consists of 14 wheeled tanks. In total, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will receive around four dozen combat vehicles.

Nexter already has a replacement for the AMX-10RC. The new armoured vehicle is called the Jaguar. It has a 40mm cannon and Akeron MMP guided anti-tank missiles. A batch of 38 vehicles has already been handed over to the French military.
