Following Slovakia: Poland transfers first batch of MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine

Poland continues helping Ukraine by handing over Soviet-made MiG-29 fighter jets to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The head of the International Policy Office of the Polish President told this during an interview on RMF FM. We are talking about the first batch of 4 planes. It is not known yet how many fighters Poland will transfer to Ukraine. By the way, apart from Poland, Slovakia also sent its MiG-29 fighters to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Flashback
The MiG-29 is a fourth-generation Soviet multirole fighter. It was the main multi-role fighter of the Warsaw Pact countries and the USSR during 80s of the XX century. Now the MiG-29 is in service in many countries, including Ukraine. It has over 15 modifications.
