Ukraine to receive 100 Leopard 1 tanks from Denmark - deliveries to start in spring

The Ukrainian Armed Forces can expect to receive 100 Leopard 1 tanks. Denmark will start transferring them in the near future.

The acting head of the Danish Defence Ministry, Troels Lund Poulsen, has announced this. The Danish official visited Ukraine and said at a briefing that deliveries of Leopard 1 tanks will start by summer.

The transfer of the German tanks to the Ukrainian Armed Forces became possible thanks to a relevant agreement between Denmark and Germany. The agreement was signed about two months ago.
