Spain to start transferring Leopard 2A4 tanks to Ukraine in coming days

Spain is preparing to transfer Leopard 2A4 tanks to Ukraine.

The Spanish Defence Minister told this, the El Pais edition writes. We are talking about 6 combat vehicles. In addition, Spain will also send 20 armoured personnel carriers to Ukraine, but it is not yet known what kind. Deliveries of weapons will last until the end of April. By the way, Spain is currently repairing four Leopard 2A4 tanks. They will be sent to the AFU a little later.

Ukraine has already received 35 Leopard 2 tanks of various modifications from its partners. In addition 14 British Challenger 2 tanks and 14 French AMX-10RC wheeled tanks are in service with the AFU.
