Finnish developer Frozenbyte has announced the next game in the Trine series - Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy, which is due out later this year:

Trine is a series of 2.5D side-scrolling puzzle platformers (except for Trine 3D, which was in some weird 3D and was poorly received by players) starring a wizard, a knight and a thief, each with a unique appearance and abilities. Together, they embark on heroic adventures through the fairytale world.

The game will feature 20 levels to explore "from glittering caves with gems to dangerous underwater passages" and single player or local/online co-op for up to three people.

Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy is scheduled for release this summer and will be available on PC(Steam, Epic Games, GOG).

The last game of the series, Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince, was released in 2019 and was well received by players, so we hope that the successor will not disappoint.
