The German government has approved deliveries of MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine, which are in service with the Polish army.
Here's What We Know
We are talking about five planes. They belonged to the German Democratic Republic, but after the unification of Germany in 1990 the fighters were transferred to the FRG, and then some of them were sent to Poland. There is no information when Poles will start transferring the planes to Ukraine. By the way, Poland has already delivered 8 fighters to the AFU.
