Spain begins transferring Leopard 2A4 tanks and M113 armoured personnel carriers to Ukraine
Ukraine will soon receive Leopard 2A4 tanks and a new batch of M113 armoured personnel carriers from Spain.

We are talking about 6 tanks and 20 APCs. Photos with transportation of the equipment have started to appear in social networks. The weapons have now been delivered to the port of Santander. From there, the equipment will most likely go to Poland and then to Ukraine. The delivery will take one or two weeks.

The Leopard 2 is a main battle tank developed by German company Krauss-Maffei Wegmann. The Leopard 2 is the successor to the successful development of the Leopard 1. The Leopard 2 has many modifications and is used by the armed forces of Austria, Canada, Chile, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain and Turkey. Totally 3,200 tanks of this model were produced.
The M113 is a tracked armoured vehicle which is in service with the mechanised forces of the US Army and other armies of the world. It was developed in 1957-1959 by the British company BAE Systems. In all, there are about 80,000 of these vehicles in the world.
