Ukraine Marines show how they train on French AMX-10RC wheeled tanks and US Oshkosh M-ATV armoured vehicles

The press service of the 37th Independent Marines Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has published pictures of the marines' training.

Here's What We've Seen

In the pictures, you can notice that the soldiers are using several types of Western armament at once. For example, French AMX-10RC wheeled tanks. Presumably there are about 40 of them in Ukraine now. The AMX-10 RC is armed with a 105mm tank gun, which is capable of engaging targets at a distance of up to 2km.

The Marines also received modern American armoured off-road vehicles Oshkosh M-ATV. The vehicle was developed by the Oshkosh Corporation under a Department of Defense program to replace the M1114 HMMWV. The vehicle was created based on experience from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The vehicle has 4×4 wheel configuration, mine protection, and a turret for a 7.62mm light machine gun, 40mm grenade launcher, or 12.7mm heavy machine gun Browning M2. It is not known how many of these vehicles Ukraine has received.
