Baykar to show Bayraktar Kizilelma and Bayraktar Akinci drones at TEKNOFEST 2023

The Bayraktar Kizilelma unmanned fighter jet took off from Çorlu Airport and departed for Istanbul's Atatürk Airport. There it will take part in TEKNOFEST 2023.

Bayraktar Kizilelma recently completed a test flight in conjunction with the Bayraktar Akinci drone. Both drones will be shown at TEKNOFEST 2023. The event starts tomorrow, 27 April, and will run until 1 May.

Baykar has already conducted 10 test flights of Kizilelma. The first version of the unmanned fighter is subsonic. The company will also introduce two modifications that will be able to reach speeds above Mach 1 (343 m/s).

The Bayraktar Akinci is also being tested. At the end of March, the drone was able to destroy a target at a distance of 140km for the first time. For this, it used the TRG-230-IHA supersonic missile with a maximum launch range of 150 km.
