Samsung releases One UI Core 5.1 update for Galaxy F12 budget smartphone

Samsung continues to update its devices to the One UI 5.1 shell. This time the firmware has been released for a budget device.

We are talking about the Galaxy F12 model. The firmware has been released with build number F127GXXU4DWD1 and the March Google security patch. The system has already started rolling out to smartphones in waves. You can check for OTAs in the settings.

As for changes, the gadget has received a simplified version of the One UI Core 5.1 shell. It contains a slightly updated look and feel, improved branded apps and a few new features. A detailed list of changes is available on Samsung's website.
