Ukraine receives first batch of self-propelled French CAESAR howitzers from Denmark
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have received self-propelled artillery systems CAESAR from Denmark. The howitzers have already been put on combat duty.

Denmark announced the transfer of CAESAR howitzers to Ukraine in early April. A few days later it became known that the soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces had undergone training. The arrival of the artillery pieces in Ukraine was confirmed by Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov today, 28 April.
The defence minister did not specify how many howitzers had been put on combat duty. He noted that "the first Caesars have arrived in the country". However, it is known that Denmark announced its readiness to transfer 19 self-propelled artillery guns to the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the French company NEXTER.
