Apple launches sales of refurbished MacBook Pro and Mac mini 2023

Apple this week added the grey "2023" tag to its refurbished Macs page in the US. This means that the 2023 refurbished MacBook Pro and Mac mini will soon go on sale.

Here's What We Know

We're talking about the 14-inch MacBook Pro, 16-inch MacBook Pro and Mac mini, which debuted just a few months ago this January. They are all equipped with proprietary chips: The 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models are available with M2 Pro or M2 Max chips, while the Mac mini is available with M2 or M2 Pro processors (depending on modification).

New MacBook Pro models are now priced from $1999 (14in) and from $2,499 (16in), while the Mac mini starts at $599. Normally, the cost of refurbished devices is 15% lower.

Apple carefully double-checks, tests, cleans and repackages refurbished Macs. They're covered under a one-year limited warranty and eligible for AppleCare+ coverage.
