Microsoft has once again redesigned the home interface of Xbox consoles, and this time it looks like a slight improvement. The main innovations are a better view of background images and easier access to key parts of the Xbox dashboard.

Here's What We Know

In the new version of Xbox Home, the icons for apps and games have been moved to the bottom, giving you a better view of the background image. The size of the tiles themselves has been reduced, and it is now possible to enable adaptive game images that will be replaced when you hover over a game.

At the top, in the centre, there are several icons that provide quick access to the library of games and apps, the Microsoft Store, Xbpx Game Pass, console search, and settings. This menu should make it much easier to navigate the interface, as now you only need to make a few clicks instead of navigating through many items, as it was before.

The new interface is currently only available to Alpha Skip-Ahead and Alpha Xbox Insider testers, and it's possible that it will be available to all users in the coming months.
