Despite the fact that the official release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a little over a week away, thanks to information leaked online, enthusiasts were able to launch the game on the Nintendo Switch emulator.

Here's What We Know

According to those who have tried to run the game on PC, Ryujinx is currently the only emulator that can run The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. However, since the game is now in the public domain, we can expect that other emulators, such as Yuzu, will add support for the game in the near future.

Nintendo has not yet responded to this leak, and with the data already available, it is unlikely that they will be able to stop the flow. Although it's illegal to distribute the ROM file, people familiar with piracy will continue to distribute it.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a Nintendo Switch-exclusive game that will be released on 12 May. The game will be the first title from Nintendo itself, which will cost $70.
