U.S. Air Force completes deployment of B-52H Stratofortress nuclear bombers and returns planes to Louisiana
The U.S. Air Force announced the completion of the deployment of the B-52H Stratofortress bomber task force. The planes returned to the U.S. at a base in Louisiana.

The 96th Expeditionary Bombing Squadron flew missions in the Indo-Pacific region. The planes were stationed on the island of Guam. Four B-52H Stratofortress nuclear bombers arrived in the region in March and returned to Barksdale, Louisiana, last week.
Nearly 200 U.S. Air Force pilots participated in the mission. While in the Indo-Pacific, the strategic bombers flew 29 combat sorties and spent more than 412 hours in the sky.
The deployment demonstrated the strategic aviation aircraft's ability to add success by working together with allied nations. The B-52H Stratofortress flew missions in conjunction with 30 other aircraft of different types.
