Information has emerged online that some users have stopped playing YouTube videos when their browser's ad blocker is activated.
Here's What We Know
YouTube representatives have confirmed that at the moment Google is testing an option that prevents users from watching videos while the ad blocker is enabled.
Those who have come across this measure report that the video hosting offers two options: either disable the ad blocker or take out a premium subscription to YouTube.
At the moment, it is not known how far YouTube's experiments will go and whether users will have to pay for the convenience.
