The Russian Federation started the weekend with the loss of two helicopters and two fighter jets. All of them were shot down in Russia itself, 50 km from the Ukrainian border.

The helicopters were the first to be destroyed. According to media reports, an Mi-8 was shot down over the town of Klintsy in the Bryansk region. The second aircraft may be an Mi-24, an Mi-28N or another Mi-8. Exact details are not yet available.
