The developers of Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodhunt developers stop development of the game - it lasted only a year
Developer Sharkmob has announced that it will no longer support the free-to-play battle royale game Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodhunt. The game was released in April 2022 on PC and PlayStation 5 after several months of early access.
Here's What We Know
The main reason for this is that the game has not gained enough players, so they are ending the development of the project. Monetisation will also be disabled. Moreover, the servers will continue to work for the foreseeable future and the game will implement a voting system to maintain at least some freshness.
"Since launch, we have been trying to delight and delight our players, however, despite having an amazing and highly engaged community, we have not been able to reach the critical mass needed to sustain development," the statement reads, "this has led us to the decision to cease further development of Bloodhunt."
