Tesla wants to produce up to 500,000 Cybertruck electric pickups annually - first customers to receive vehicles by the end of 2023

During Tesla's annual shareholder meeting, CEO Elon Musk not only talked about plans to produce the Roadster in 2024, but also touched on the Cybertruck electric pickup truck. The car was unveiled a few years ago but sales have yet to start.

Tesla has once again revealed an electric vehicle without door handles. A pre-production version of the Cybertruck was on display near the building where the investor meeting was held. In the photo, apart from the absence of door handles, you can see black mirrors and a huge windshield wiper near the left pillar on the windshield.

On the delivery side, the first customers will be able to get their hands on the Cybertruck before the end of this year. When production is fully ramped up, the company plans to produce between 250,000 and 500,000 electric picks annually.

Elon Musk stated that he will personally drive the company's new electric car. The Tesla chief also noted that the Cybertruck can be turned into a camper through optional accessories. This was the CEO's response to an investor's question about the company's plans to release a travel car.
