Xiaomi is working on a budget Redmi Pad 2 tablet with a Snapdragon chip on board

Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi Pad tablet in 2022 and is now working on its successor.

Here's What We Know

According to insider Digital Chat Station, the Redmi Pad 2 has the model number M84 and the codename xun. The device has already been certified by some agencies.

Unfortunately, specs of the tablet are not available yet. Only known that the device should be equipped with a Snapdragon processor. For comparison, the original Redmi Pad medel runs on the MediaTek Helio G99 chip. It can also be assumed that the novelty will get an IPS LCD display and support refresh rate of 90 or 120 Hz.

When We Can Expect It

The tablet is expected to be released in the third quarter.
