Ukraine's Special Operations Forces use cheap FPV drone to destroy advanced Russian surveillance complex Irony

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have destroyed a Russian surveillance complex called Irony. This is reported by the Special Operations Forces Command.

The system was used to collect information on the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the movement of military equipment and personnel. The Special Operations Forces destroyed the Irony using a disposable FPV drone.

The surveillance complex was introduced several years ago. It includes a thermal imaging camera and a rangefinder. The Irony system is capable of round-the-clock video surveillance, allowing a rapid response to Ukrainian units.
