Now it's official: Assassin's Creed Mirage will be released this autumn
Assassin's Creed Mirage is scheduled to release on 12 October this year - not that we didn't know this date before, as Ubisoft is not very good at keeping such information secret, but now we at least have official confirmation from PlayStation Showcase.
The game will feature Basim Ibn Ishaq, a side character from Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and will be set in ninth-century Baghdad. The game was first announced during Ubisoft's Forward presentation last year as part of a group of several upcoming Assassin's Creed games, including one for mobile devices.
According to Ubisoft, Mirage will move away from the complex RPG-like format of previous Assassin's Creed games in favour of a more streamlined action-adventure style. Bassim will have many of the series' fan-favourite details at his disposal, including a hidden blade, as well as new skills such as pole vaulting.
Assassin's Creed Mirage will be available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
