Sony announces Concord, a co-op shooter from recently acquired Firewalk Studios

Sony has announced Concord, a first-person PvP shooter developed by Washington-based Firewalk Studios, which Sony recently acquired:

"Concord is about bringing people together. The power of gaming lies in creating connections and inspiring social play," wrote game director Ryan Ellis on the PlayStation Blog.

"The Firewalk team is driven by the type of immersive, unexpected moments and shared experiences that multiplayer games create. Every time you log in is the start of a new adventure, and every match is an opportunity for a new story.

These are the ideals that define Concrod, its unique universe of colourful worlds and rich cast of vivid characters."

The game will be released for PlayStation 5 and PC in 2024.
