Spain to transfer additional Leopard 2 tanks and M113 tracked armoured personnel carriers to Ukraine
Spain is preparing a new military aid package for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The information was shared by the press service of the country's Defence Ministry. We are talking about four Leopard 2A4 tanks. Previously, Spain sent 6 tanks to the AFU. It is not yet known when the supply of weapons will start.
By the way, together with the Leopard 2, Spain will also transfer an additional batch of M113 tracked armoured personnel carriers to Ukraine.

The Leopard 2 is a main battle tank developed by the German company Krauss-Maffei Wegmann. The Leopard 2 is the successor to the successful development of the Leopard 1. The Leopard 2 has many modifications and is used by the armed forces of Austria, Canada, Chile, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain and Turkey. Totally 3,200 tanks of this model were produced.
The M113 is a tracked armoured vehicle, which is in service with the mechanized forces of the US Army and other armies of the world. It was developed in 1957-1959 by the British company BAE Systems. There are around 80,000 of these vehicles in the world.
