Russia's upgraded T-90M tank worth up to $5m blows up on a mine (video)

The number of Russian T-90M tanks lost has surpassed 20. Another vehicle has been hit by a landmine.

The video below shows the T-90M taking a shot, then starting to move forward. After a short period of time, the tank hits a mine and explodes.

The incident took place in Donetsk region. The commander and gunner survived the explosion and managed to escape. Part of the video was recorded on a camera that was installed on the tank itself. The extent of the damage is unknown.

Last week we wrote twice about the upgraded T-90M Breakthrough tank. The first was destroyed by Ukrainian Armed Forces artillerymen, while the second was destroyed by an unmanned aerial vehicle.
