Xiaomi sells more than 1 million Smart Band 8 wristbands in a month and a half in China

Xiaomi has reported on the success of its next-generation Smart Band 8 sports bracelet. Sales in the Chinese market have exceeded 1 million units since the release.

The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 was announced in mid-April this year. In less than half a month since the launch, the company managed to sell more than 1.1 million sports bracelets in the Chinese market.

The wearable gadget features a 1.62" display with a resolution of 490 x 192 pixels and a brightness of up to 600 nits. On board are a Bluetooth 5.1 adapter and a 190mAh battery, which provides up to 16 days of work without recharging.

The manufacturer's recommended price for the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 in China was around $35. The version with NFC chip was priced at the launch of sales at $40.
