iPad with iPadOS 17 update to support USB-connected webcams

Details continue to emerge online about the innovations of iPadOS 17.

Here's What We Know

This time it is known that the tablets that will be updated to the new OS version will get support for pluggable webcams. Apart from that iPad will also recognize the built-in camera in Studio Display. The innovation should only work with devices that have the USB-C port installed.

Apple revealed iPadOS 17 at WWDC 2023 on June 5. The new version of the system is already available for developers to install. Open beta software will be released in July and stable release of iPadOS 17 will be in the fall.
