vivo stops selling devices in Germany. The Chinese manufacturer has closed its official shop following a lawsuit from Nokia.

Here's What We Know

vivo has left the German market without too much fuss, as OPPO and OnePlus did earlier. When you go to the officia vivo website in Germany, we are greeted with a notification that the Chinese company's products are currently not for sale in the country.

However, if you're already the lucky owner of a smartphone, you'll continue to receive software updates. Also, vivo is not shutting down its customer service programme.

As for the lawsuit, it is filed by Nokia, not the Nokia brand, which is owned by HMD Global. It is likely that vivo has infringed patents relating to WLAN connections. OPPO and OnePlus left the German market earlier for this reason.
