We recently wrote that the Apple M2 Ultra was tested in Geekbench 5. The new chip in Single-Core was worse than Core i9-13900KS and Ryzen 9 7950X, but in Multi-Core it took revenge. In Geekbench 6, on the other hand, the result is not as good.

Here's What We Know

To begin with, let's recall that the M2 Ultra is Apple's most powerful processor. What's more, the manufacturer itself has described the platform as the highest performing PC chip in history. It has a 24-core CPU, a 32-core Neural Engine and supports up to 192GB of memory with up to 800GB/s of bandwidth. The tech process is 5nm.

The M2 Ultra scored 2,800 in Single-Core and 19,000 in Multi-Core. By comparison, the Core i9-13900KS, Core i9-13900K and Ryzen 9 7950X score an average of 3100/22,000, 3000/22,000 and 2900/20,000 respectively.
