The Apple M2 Ultra regularly appears in benchmarks after its presentation. We've already written about the CPU tests in Geekbench 5 and Geebench 6. Now it's time for the GPU.
Here's What We Know
The M2 Ultra was announced on June 5. The chip will be used in Mac Studio and Mac Pro computers, which also debuted at WWDC 2023.
Depending on the modification, the processor can be equipped with a 60- or 76-core graphics chip. According to the manufacturer, GPU power has increased by just under a third (30%) compared to the Apple M1 Ultra.
In Geekbench 5 (OpenCL Compute), the M2 Ultra managed to score 131,100 points. That's a score on par with the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti. The more powerful RTX 4070 graphics card scores about 34,000 points more. When it comes to NVIDIA's flagship models, the RTX 4080 scores over 245,000 points and the RTX 4090 scores over 324,000 points.
