Disappointment (again): Todd Howard confirms that Starfield will run at 30 fps even on Series X
Immediately after the Starfield Direct, IGN interviewed the game's director Todd Howard, in which he said that the game will only run at 30 fps on Xbox Series consoles.

"Fortunately, everything works great for us. Often it's much higher than that. Sometimes it's 60 frames per second. But on consoles, we block it because we prefer consistency when you don't even think about it," the executive added.
It is worth noting that this is not the first AAA project from Microsoft that will run at 30 frames per second even on the modern generation - the same fate befell, for example, Redfall.
