Ukrainian Vampire drone used for humanitarian aid for residents of occupied left bank of Kherson region (video)
Ukrainian Vampire strike drones used at the front are now helping to deliver humanitarian aid to places where the Ukrainian military and rescuers cannot reach - the temporarily occupied left bank of the Kherson region. After the Russians blew up the Kakhovska hydroelectric plant, settlements on this side of the Dnieper River were flooded.
The exclusive drone footage was published on social media by Ukraine's Digital Transformation Minister Mykhailo Fyodorov. "The Russians don’t evacuate residents from flooded areas or allow Ukraine to do so. But technology comes to the rescue. The Ukrainian attack drone Vampire, which previously destroyed the occupiers, delivers humanitarian aid to Ukrainians under occupation. Ukraine fights every day for the lives of people who are trapped", he wrote.
The video shows the drone flying over the occupied territory and dropping the cargo into the water. Next, locals take the parcel out of the water and open it - so the Ukrainian servicemen handed them food.
The Vampire is a development of the Ukrainian company SkyFall. The drone is capable of taking up to 15 kg of ammunition on board. The cost of one strike drone is $10,000.
