Sony starts testing PlayStation 5 cloud gaming feature
Sony has announced the launch of cloud gaming testing with PlayStation 5 and plans to include this feature in PlayStation Plus Premium.
Here's What We Know
According to Nick Maguire, vice president of global services and global sales, cloud streaming is currently being tested for supported PS5 games, including games from the PlayStation Plus catalogue, trial versions of games, and player-owned digital copies. Once launched, this feature will allow owners of PlayStation 5, PC, Android, Mac, iOS or any other device to play PlayStation 5 games without having to download them.
Sony currently has a Remote Play feature, but you must have a PlayStation 5 to use as a host in order to use it.
When We Can Expect It
No even approximate launch dates have been announced for the feature, and since it is still in development, we can assume that the PlayStation Q will be released without it.
