20 M113 APCs, 4 Leopard 2 tanks and a Role 2 plus field hospital: Spain to send Ukraine new military aid package

The Spanish Defence Ministry has announced a new military aid package for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

A statement to this effect has appeared on the ministry's website. The new military aid package will include the Role 2 plus field hospital. It is capable of supporting an entire brigade. The hospital consists of 20 containers.

In addition, Spain will also supply Ukraine with 20 M113 tracked armoured personnel carriers. Incidentally, the AFU previously received 40 such combat vehicles from Spain. Also, the new aid package will include 4 refurbished Leopard 2A4 tanks. Weapon deliveries will begin in the near future.
