Dell starts selling the Alienware AW2724DM QHD gaming monitor from $400

Dell has launched a new monitor under the Alienware brand. The model is called the Alienware AW2724DM.

Here's What We Know

In the first quarter of 2023, the American company presented the AW2524H model, which has a display with a frame rate of 500 Hz and costs more than $800. Our hero is inferior to the spring novelty in this part.

The Alienware AW2724DM has an IPS display with up to 180Hz refresh rate. The panel has a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, which corresponds to the Quad HD format. The response time is 1 ms.

The screen displays 99% and 95% of the sRGB and DCI-P3 colour space respectively. The manufacturer also notes 100% coverage of Rec. 709. The brightness was 350 nits and the contrast ratio was 1000:1.

The Alienware AW2724DM has support for DisplayHDR 400 True Black, NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and VESA AdaptiveSync. Talking about interfaces, there are two HDMI 2.0, two DP 1.4, four USB-A and two USB-C. Speaker power is 5 watts.
