Spotify will soon offer support for Lossless Audio

In 2021, Spotify revealed that it was working on support for Lossless Audio. Two years later, it's finally planning to add it to the app.

Here's What We Know

The information was shared by the American publication Bloomberg. We are talking about a new plan called Spotify HiFi (aka Supremium). If we believe the rumors, it will cost $20 per month. In comparison, the Premium plan now costs $10.

Speaking of competitors, they offer support for Lossless at no extra charge (Apple Music and Amazon Music Unlimited have $11 a month subscription).

When We Can Expect It

Spotify plans to launch a HiFi plan in the near future. Lossless support will appear first in the US and then in other countries.
