Apple announces first beta version of visionOS for developers

Apple showed off the Vision Pro AR/VR helmet at WWDC 2023, and has now started testing an operating system for the device.

visionOS Beta 1 is already available for developers to install. A test version of the software was announced immediately after the publication of the SDK (software development kit). Thanks to the visionOS beta developers will be able to create and optimize their own applications for the headset.

Incidentally, Apple is not yet giving access to the gadget itself. If everything goes according to plan, then testing of the helmet will be launched only next month, and a full-fledged release of the headset will be held in early 2024.
