OnePlus Pad with software update gets Cellular Data feature that allows you to answer calls and send SMS from the tablet

OnePlus has released a new software update for its tablet.

Here's What We Know

The main innovation of the system is the Cellular Data feature. It allows you to use your smartphone's mobile data connection. To do so, the gadget must be within 10 metres of the phone.

With the new feature, OnePlus Pad owners will be able to answer calls, send and receive text messages from the tablet, and use mobile internet without having to turn on the hotspot.

When We Can Expect It

The new version of the system has already started rolling out to devices around the world. Unfortunately, the Cellular Data feature will not yet be available on devices in Europe.
