Super Mario Bros. Wonder will take up about 4.5 GB of space on your Switch

At Nintendo Direct, we were shown the 2D platformer Super Mario Bros. Wonder, but the main details about the game were published after the show. For example, the Switch eShop page states that the file size of Super Mario Bros. Wonder is 4.5 GB.

This size is acceptable for a 2D platformer on the Switch, although it is slightly larger than previous 2D Mario games on this console. For example, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is 2.5 GB in size (although it is a port from the Wii U game), and Super Mario Maker 2 is 3.1 GB.

It is worth noting that the file size of the game may undergo minor changes until its release, which is scheduled for the end of October.
