US to give Ukraine $500m new aid package to include Bradley, Stryker, HIMARS and Patriot ammunition

The Pentagon has announced a new $500,000,000 military aid package for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Here's What We Know

The package includes:

• Additional ammunition for Patriot air defence systems;
• Stinger anti-aircraft systems;
• Additional ammunition for HIMARS;
• Ammunition and obstacle clearance systems;
• Demining equipment;
• 155mm and 105mm artillery rounds;
• 30 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles;
• 25 Stryker armoured personnel carriers;
• TOW optically guided missiles;
• Javelin anti-tank systems;
• AT-4 anti-tank systems;
• Anti-armor missiles;
• HARM High Velocity Anti-Radiation Missiles;
• High-precision aviation munitions;
• Grenades, small arms and more than 22 million rounds of small arms ammunition;
• Thermal imaging systems and night vision equipment;
• Test and diagnostic equipment to support vehicle maintenance and repair;
• Spare parts, generators and other field equipment.

Weapons are being allocated from US stockpiles. Deliveries will begin shortly.
