Will Call of Duty get bigger? Infinity Ward has opened a new division in Barcelona

Infinity Ward Studios, which is part of Activision, has announced an expansion.

The developers of many parts of Call of Duty have opened a new division in Barcelona.

Infinity Ward's Spanish office will handle support for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (2022), while partners from the Digital Legends team based in the same city will continue work on the mobile version of Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, scheduled to launch in November 2023.

The teams will work together to develop the Call of Duty brand and create high-end games.

Infinity Ward Barcelona will be led by experienced IW employees Riccard Linde and Peter McCabe.
