Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick has also joined the court hearings into the deal between Activision Blizzard and Microsoft.

Here's What We Know

In a conversation with regulators, the question was raised as to how Call of Duty games would function on Nintendo consoles.

Bobby Kotick stated that he had already discussed the issue with Nintendo management. The Japanese company said that the next model of its console will be comparable in power to the previous generation of gaming consoles, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Kotick didn't specify whether he was referring to improved versions of the eighth-generation consoles or their base models, but he's confident that running Call of Duty on Nintendo consoles won't be a problem.

Furthermore, Bobby Kotick hasn't ruled out that some of the Call of Duty games could even be released on the current Nintendo Switch model.
