ASUS Zenfone 10 - Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, compact 144Hz display, 50MP camera with 6-axis stabilisation and Android 13 from €799
Taiwan-based ASUS has announced a new flagship smartphone. The model has been named ASUS Zenfone 10.
Here's What We Know
The smartphone has a compact size of 146.5 x 68.1 x 9.4 mm and weighs 172 g. The front features a 5.92" AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. The panel has a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.
Overall, the ASUS Zenfone 10 doesn't look any different from the previous generation model. The only visible difference is the reduced thickness of the bottom frame. On the back, there is a dual main camera with 50 MP (1/1.56") + 13 MP resolution and 6-axis optical stabilization. For selfies, a 32 MP sensor is used.
The ASUS Zenfone 10 is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile processor, which is complemented by 8/16GB of LPDRR5x RAM. The built-in UFS 4.0 storage capacity ranges from 128GB to 512GB.
The smartphone gets a 4,300mAh battery with 30W of fast charging via wire and 15W wirelessly. The ASUS Zenfone 10's arsenal includes USB-C, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, stereo speakers and a headphone jack. The casing has IP68 water protection. The fingerprint scanner is mounted on the right side of the case.
Prices and when to expect
ASUS Zenfone 10 will be available preloaded with ZenUI firmware based on Android 13 in five body colours: Starry Blue, Midnight Black, Aurora Green, Eclipse Red and Comet White. The smartphone in 8/128GB and 16/256GB versions costs €799 and €929 respectively. The price of the 16/512GB version has not been specified yet. The company has already started taking pre-orders.
