Three FPV drones worth $350 each destroy a $300,000 Russian BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicle

The Ukrainian Defence Forces' investment in kamikaze drones has once again yielded results. Three FPV drones destroyed a Russian BMP-2.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are using kamikaze drones costing less than $1000. In this case the use of three FPV drones at $350 is reported.

The Ukrainian Defence Forces first immobilised the Russian infantry fighting vehicle and then destroyed it. The cost of one BMP-2 is approximately $300,000, which means it cost almost 300 times less to destroy.

It should be noted that the BMP-2 is not a rare piece of military equipment in service with the Russian army. According to Oxyr analysts, the Russians have lost at least 859 infantry fighting vehicles since 24 February 2022, of which over 200 have been seized by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
